Wildlife watching with Wild Nordic
In the middle of the old pine forest of Gästrikland, there's a purpose-built forest cabin where birds and other animals can easily be seen and photographed during the winter, such as different types of woodpecker, eagles and small birds. The fox can tiptoe past and squirrels often jump around between the trees.
You all gather in the Wild Nordic photo gallery in the morning for coffee and some practical information. After a short car transport, you walk 4 meters to the hide. The guide will show you everything in the hide and then you start the exciting watch on your own.
The hide has 9 photo openings and bunk beds with pillows and blankets. There are a simple toilet and a petroleum gas heater to keep you warm.
