Singles summer week in Lapland
Do you want to experience the mountains but lack a travel companion? During a magic summer week, solo travelers from all over the place meet at the charming Saltoluokta Mountain Station.
It’s probably because of the light that you can’t get enough of the mountains in the summer. And the sun that never sets. Or it could be the surroundings. Dramatic mountains which seem to breathe in the wind. A glimpse of a lemming or perhaps a ptarmigan, so very tiny, in the midst of all this vastness.
Saltoluokta Mountain Station is your base camp for the week. Day trips on the mountain are combined with exciting activities and pleasant company. A hike up the “home mountain”, Lulep Kierkau, with majestic views over Sarek national park and a boat and hiking tour to Stora Sjöfallet are just some of the things that are on.
You might not need much more than a glass of nice wine with dinner and a magnificent view over the Lule river valley to feel satisfied. But if not, during the long evenings the sauna is ready and hot for anyone to use.
