Nordic ice-skating – Weekend tour 2 days

Experience the thrill of Nordic Skating on the lakes within the Nature Reserve Malingsbo-Kloten. Although Nordic skating is a perfectly safe activity, it can be risky for those not familiar with the terrain and natural conditions. Participating in guided tours ensures you don’t have to worry about safety risks and can concentrate on having a great time in the fresh, crispy outdoors.

During two days, the native and experienced ice skating guide Mikael Nilsson takes you to the best (after current conditions) ice skating in this region. The tour includes an overnight stay and a  two-course dinner at the Wilderness Lodge -The perfect base for outdoor adventures, situated in the middle of the Kloten wolf territory.

Before heading out on the lakes, all participants get briefed with detailed information about the tour, ice safety issues and the basics of Nordic ice skating.

The skates match all hiking shoes and ski boots, be sure to bring own boots and a mid-size backpack. The backpack should contain a set of extra clothes packed in plastic bags, an extra warm jacket to put on for wilderness picnic lunch breaks.
