Ammarnäs is a small mountain village at the beginning or end of the road, depending on how you look upon it, in the middle of one of Europe’s largest protected areas – Vindelfjällens nature reserve.

The company´s base is the listed Hedebo Gård, a carefully restored semi-detached log cabin from 1912. The business is run by Helena Wikström Ifrig and Gunnarn Wikström. Hedebo farm lies in a beautiful natural setting by Lake Nolavan and has one of the most beautiful views in the village. You can enjoy a ride on Icelandic ponies in magnificent mountain scenery followed by a log-fired sauna and bathe in the wooden bathtub at Hedebo. The riding-fishing adventure, arranged in cooperation with Ammarnäs Fiskecenter, is based on the principle that it’s easy to get up into the mountains with the help of Icelandic ponies and go fly-fishing for salmon trout and char in exclusive waters.
