Horses of Taiga

Do you want to discover the interior of Västerbotten in a quiet and close-to-nature way? On the homestead Svanström in Svansele, Horses of Taiga runs their operation where everyone is welcome. This is where Floriane and Rianne offer horseback adventures that expand from an hour and up to a week.

The name Horses of Taiga signals that the company is located far north, only 100 km from the Arctic Circle and at the doorstep of Lapland. Here you can enjoy the tranquil wilderness of the Swedish taiga, also known as the Swedish boreal forest, consisting of pine, spruce, and birch, and inhabited by thousands of wildlife like moose, foxes, lynx, and even bears.

Horses of Taiga has always been Floriane's dream project. The project to make you who have a spirit of adventure discover the wonderful northern region on genuine nordic horses and in total respect of nature and the local community.
